I would like to thank my LifeTeen youth group for allowing me to speak 15 minutes on the issue on cyberbullying. A special thank you to my LifeTeen Leader Heather for giving me this last minute but yet great opportunity. This was given to me last minute, like literally at 12:30. The hardest part was taking an hour presentation down to 15 minutes. During pizza before the night began, I asked Cat, a CORE member, to pray with me. We did an activity about bullies and their power. After I was introduced, I got up there and said “I am really nervous.” I have never been so close to a group of people that I was speaking to, even though there were only about 40 kids there. I feel like I rocked it for it being given to me last minute. After I spoke, we had a big group discussion on bullying which was really cool. Following that we were given two index cards which we had to write victims on one and the other it was bullies. After we put those into two separate baskets, we had a partner up and pray for the people in the two baskets. I was with my friend Hailey and we really opened up and prayed and cried. We both went to a CORE member and prayed. At the end of the night, Heather surprised me with a Michael James Mette CD. I was honored just to speak let alone get that wonderful CD. It was a experience I will never forget!
