I am finally 17 years old! My parents gave me the best surprise on my birthday. They had meeting until about 4:20ish and then they dropped me off at Church while they went to go run an “errand”. They made it back in time for church. After Church, my LifeTeen friends and I got ready to play Human Clue and planning See You At The Pole since our pizza did not arrive. (SYATP is an international event where high school students gather around their flag pole for a half an hour between 7-7:30 and pray for their community, family, and other things).
Human Clue is played much like regular clue the only difference was that we had to figure out who killed our pastor. We ran around the gym looking for clues and guessing who did it. My partner, Kate and I were on a roll for a while figuring out the clues but sadly we lost. After praying we were dismissed for pizza. As I walked in one of the CORE members started to sing happy birthday. I thought that my best friend planned for them to sing to me but I found out later it was my Dad’s idea. I turned around to be suprised again with the 72 cupcakes sitting there which my parents dropped off. I didn’t expect anything for my 17th birthday but spending the evening with my closest friends tops it all for the BEST NIGHT EVER!
